Marmo's Model Shop

If you build models of spacecraft that never were  but could've been, this latest 1/72 scale resin offering from Fantastic Models is a must for your collection.  A full review is HERE.

In 1957, Revell released what is arguably the very  first model kit of the Northrop Snark. But we had to wait til Lindberg released one in 1988 for one in a standard scale, 1/48th, and repopped it in 2007.  Then a third time in 2023 under the AMT brand.  A full review is HERE.

If you happen to be fond of those big Mack trucks from the 1920s, you're gonna love some of the latest repops from Atlantis Models.  This 1/24th scale Log Carrier was originally produced by Monogram back in 1976.  If you were actively building models during the 80s and 90s, this'll be a stroll down memory lane.  If not, you'll see why Monogram is held in such high regard.  A full review is HERE.

TheAtlantis Models 1/48 scale kit of the Curtiss JN-4D Jenny is a repop of the very nice Lindberg kit originally produced in 1955 for the high price of 98 cents. Thanks to inflation and the passage of 67 years, the Atlantis kit sells for a reasonable $21.99.  A full review is HERE.

As it happened, Glencoe Models also released a  1/48 scale JN-4D Jenny repop in 2022, this one being the Aurora kit from 1956.  You'd think a Jenny is a Jenny, but that isn't so, as you  can see in my full review that you can find HERE.

Bugs come in all shapes and sizes with most of'em being alive.  But modelbuilders who do a fair amount of photoetch work are...or should be...familiar with a fabulous little photoetch bending tool from The Small Shop called "The Bug".  Never heard of it?  An in depth review can be found HERE.
